Next LRA Monthly Meeting - Monday, October 27, 2008 ─ 7:00 P.M.

The next meeting of the Livermore Referee Association will be held at the Livermore Public Library, 1188 S. Livermore Avenue, Livermore, at the above date and time.

As always, we will have snacks and drinks. This meeting is open to the public and we encourage everyone to attend.

TIME FOR MAINTENANCE FOR YOUR GRADE?

Grade 7 referees and above has a required physical and written test they must pass each year to retain their grade status. The scheduled "Fun Runs" for the our area are listed below as are the requirements for passing. The written test is given after the physical test. No need to RSVP, just show up for the run that works for your schedule. However, it is not recommended to wait until the last one if you can help it to allow yourself time to re-test should that be needed. Referees that do not meet this requirement risk being downgraded to 8, so please make the run.

Grade 9 and 8 referees do not need to do this run or written test.

Referee Rates Announced for 2008 Season

The LRA Steering Committee has approved new rates for 2008, which average 11%. Some rates are higher in the high comp. U11-U14 levels to ensure better coverage.

District III Assessment Request Form Available

Since the CNRA District III web site is unavailable, Bill Miller, District III Director of Assessment, has provided the request form to LRA so you can fill out and submit a request to him. The PDF form is self-explanatory and is at:

Message from the LRA Assignors

U9-U10 Division 4 regular games are now in Arbiter (as are U12-U14 Division 4 games added last week) so all games that start next weekend are all in now.
